Yes, everyone can be hypnotised, but only if they want to be. It’s a very relaxed state, and the body likes to be relaxed. Because we’re often stressed, when we get the chance to zone out and relax, we do. And it’s an enjoyable, positive experience.
Hypnosis is a comfortable and gentle way to make therapeutic changes to your habits and behaviours. In a relaxed state, you’re more suggestible. However, even when hypnotised, if you didn't want to follow any of the suggestions given to you, you could disregard it.
