How I use your information
I aim to provide you with the best service I can:
I may contact clients between sessions to provide them with support if needed, e.g. a couple of days and then a couple of weeks after a stop smoking session I will contact the ex-smoker to see if they might need or want the free backup session
To improve my services and the information that I provide to clients and contacts
I may occasionally (approximately 6 times a year) email newsletters including information about new products and services, special offers and other information that you may find interesting and helpful using the email address you provided
Very occasionally (less than once a year), I may also contact clients and former clients by email about improving the services I provide or to request a testimonial or feedback
I may use the information to customise the website according to respondents’ interests.
How I get the personal information and why I have it

Your consent: you have provided the information to me so that I can contact you or provide you with information via newsletters or answer a query you have raised. You can do this by contacting me at enquiries@saralongmuir.co.uk or by completing and submitting the contact form on the website and asking for your details to be removed from my database
Contract: the processing is necessary where you are currently a client, have been a client in the past or are in the process of deciding whether to become a client and engage my services
How I store your personal information
I am committed to keeping your information secure and confidential. I have put in place physical and electronic procedures to safeguard and store your information securely.
I keep records of client hypnotherapy sessions in handwritten format in a locked filing cabinet. I shred and destroy notes approximately two years after the last contact a client has with me.
I keep names, phone numbers, email addresses and correspondence until you ask me to delete that information, then I will delete those records promptly.
How you can control your personal information
You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information:
I may send you email newsletters (using Campaign Monitor), from which you can unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of the email
If you have previously agreed to my using your personal information to contact you, provide you with on-going support or for marketing purposes (like sending you newsletters), you may change your mind at any time by emailing me at enquiries@enquiries@saralongmuir.co.uk and asking me to unsubscribe you from my newsletter and/or to remove all your details from my database and not to contact you for any reason.
